Halton Integrated Recovery Service are looking to employ a full time Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator, working across the Widnes and Runcorn area. An experienced case manager is required to support the Community Order Treatment Requirements of those service users involved in the Criminal Justice System, including:

DRR (Drug Rehabilitation Requirements)ATR (Alcohol Treatment Requirements)RAR (Rehabilitation Action Requirements)IOM (Integrated Offender Management) cohort engaging with Police Services, Probation and CGL in the Community.Test on Arrest ProgrammeService users released from prison back into the community setting

 

Reporting to the Criminal Justice Team Leader, you will have responsibility for providing intensive assessment and case management services to a caseload of offenders with complex needs. There will be an expectation that you travel between Widnes and Runcorn for role.

 

Where: Widnes and Runcorn

Hours: 37.5hrs per week, full time

Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 Dependent on experience (Based on full time hours, pro rata for part time).

 

*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. 

Responsibilities

About the role: 

 

Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey.Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral.Deliver structured content within group settings to service users at various stages of recovery. Work in partnership with National Probation service and other appropriate agencies. Deliver DRR/ATR and other relevant interventions in line with National Probation Service (NPS) and court order requirements.Provide a seamless link between probation, police/court custody suites, prison, and the community.Provide assessment and information for courts and other criminal justice agencies of
suitability for specialist interventions.Facilitate and be included within individualised care planning and reviews with partners and service users for the most appropriate support.To ensure that record keeping and feedback is completed to a high standard and within time scales; and information governance/sharing policies and procedures are adhered to.

 

About you: 

 

Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and/or experience
of working within criminal justice or related field. Experience of supporting and advising participants with complex
and/or multiple barriers to success.Excellent communication and organisational abilities and will connect CGL’s vision and values with inspirational guidance to participants on your caseload.Experience of working within Criminal Justice Partnerships and/or
working within a multiagency system/team.Knowledge of effective interventions that lead to reduction in drug
related crime.Experience of carrying out full assessments and identify and manage/escalate/reduce risks identified Sound knowledge of the criminal justice system.Hold a full UK Driving Licence
