The Criminal Justice Department invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position. The ideal candidate has demonstrated the ability to teach in the areas of criminal law, the courts, criminal justice ethics and gender and justice. The successful individual can also teach a variety of courses within the undergraduate program such as introduction to criminal justice, administration of justice, and global crime and justice, as well as the graduate program in criminal justice.

Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates are required to perform duties in accordance with the MSCA contract. Duties include teaching, advising, scholarship and contributions to continuously improve the department and university. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester. The position is subject to available funding.

PhD in criminal justice or closely related field, or ABD with doctorate conferred by August 2026.Experience and demonstrated ability to teach in areas of courts, criminal law, criminal justice ethics and gender and justice.Evidence of successful teaching experience at the college/university level.Preferred Qualifications
