**Role Summary**
Alaska Airlines is seeking a Crew Pay Analyst for the Crew Pay Team either supporting Alaska Air Crew or as a shared service supporting the Horizon Crew Pay. This team is responsible for processing pay for our Pilots and Flight Attendants in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and the departments standard operating procedures.
+ The Crew Pay Analyst I (P1) role is responsible for accurate processing of pay for Pilots or Flight Attendants in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and the department’s standard operating procedures at Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. As an individual contributor, this role focuses on accurate processing of pay for our crew members and work with crew members on issues related to pay.
+ The Crew Pay Analyst II (P2) role is responsible for developing solutions to solve for accurate processing of pay for Pilots or Flight Attendants in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and the department’s standard operating procedures at Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. As an individual contributor, this role makes recommendations to improve accurate processing of pay.
+ The Crew Pay Analyst III (P3) role is responsible for leading complex initiatives that ensure accurate processing of pay for Pilots or Flight Attendants in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and the department’s standard operating procedures. As an individual contributor and subject matter expert, this role represents the team in cross-functional meetings, drives process improvements, and partners with departments such as IT, Crew Planning, Scheduling, and Corporate Payroll. This role also provides training and guidance to team members and supports the Crew Pay Manager in implementing departmental change initiatives.
**Key Duties**
**P1 Level**
+ Supervised to deliver processes and ensure accurate pay for crew members per the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
+ Follow established procedures, with additional research, to leverage CBA expertise to provide excellent customer service to internal customers (e.g., Flight Attendants, Pilots, and other management employees).
+ Work with crew members on issues related to pay.
+ Research and resolve all payroll questions including driving resolution with other teams if appropriate.
+ Communicate clearly and confidently with Flight Attendant and/or Pilot union on crew pay focused contractual requirements.
+ Identify and provide input on process improvements within the team and with other departments including IT, Crew Planning, Crew Scheduling & Corporate Payroll.
+ Perform testing support for payroll related software systems.
+ Participate in cross team meetings & serve as a subject matter expert for specific components of payroll processes and the CBA.
+ Assist training of new pay analysts.
**P2 Level**
+ Under the direction of the Crew Pay Manager, process and ensure accurate pay for crew members per the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
+ Leverage CBA knowledge to provide excellent customer service to internal customers (e.g., Flight Attendants, Pilots, and other management employees).
+ Work with crew members to solve issues related to pay.
+ Following established procedure, research and resolve all payroll questions and provide resolution with other teams as appropriate.
+ Communicate clearly and confidently with Flight Attendant and/or Pilot union on crew pay focused contractual requirements.
+ Provide input for process improvement within the team and with other departments including IT, Crew Planning, Crew Scheduling & Corporate Payroll.
+ Participate in cross team meetings & serve as a resource for specific components of payroll processes and the CBA.
+ Review and adjust rosters in AIMS system
+ Identify system issues, reproduce and partners with IT to fix, test and resolve.
+ Compile and publish team metrics.
+ Conduct analysis for reporting trends.
+ Lead new pay analyst training
**P3 Level**
+ Process and ensure accurate pay for crew members per the applicable collective bargaining agreement with minimal supervision.
+ Leverage CBA knowledge to provide excellent customer service to internal customers (e.g., Flight Attendants, Pilots, and other management employees).
+ Work with crew members to solve complex issues related to pay.
+ Research and resolve all payroll questions and provide resolution with other teams as appropriate.
+ Communicate clearly and confidently with Flight Attendant and/or Pilot union on crew pay focused contractual requirement.
+ Provide input for process improvement within the team and with other departments including IT, Crew Planning, Crew Scheduling & Corporate Payroll.
+ Participate in cross team meetings & serve as a subject matter expert for specific components of payroll processes and the CBA.
+ Represents the team, as well as the manager, at division, business and project meetings.
+ Work closely with the Crew Pay Manager to drive change within the department.
+ Trains new team members on payroll processes, provides on-going guidance to the crew pay team, and ensures reports are completed accurately and on-time.
+ Identify system issues, reproduce and partners with IT to fix, test and resolve.
+ Strong understanding of the FA Vacations Process, including bidding, vacation moving, vacation payouts and auditing.
**Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills**
**P1 Level**
+ **Required**
* Bachelor’s degree, or 2 years of proven crew pay, accounting, payroll, auditing, data analysis, scheduling or related experience in a mid-sized or larger company in lieu of this degree.
* Excellent ability to focus on details with demonstrated accuracy and analytical skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to focus under pressure to meet strict production deadlines.
* Documented experience working with labor groups and contracts.
* Ability to dissect current processes, identify inefficiencies and promote change.
* Intermediate level proficiency in MS Excel, (including formulas & graphs), MS Outlook and MS SharePoint
* High school diploma or equivalent is required.
* Minimum age of 18.
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
**P2 Level**

* 2 years of crew pay, accounting, payroll, auditing, data analysis, scheduling or related experience.
* Bachelor’s degree, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.

**Salary Range**
$55,700-$126,750 / year
**Pay Details**
Professional 1 level (non-exempt): $55,700 - $78,000
Professional 2 level (exempt): $66,400 - $99,600
Professional 3 level (exempt): $84,500 - $126,750
**Salary Details**
Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
**Note:** We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
