Job Title: Crew Lead
Shift: (Multiple Openings) - 6:00PM – 6:00AM (2 on - 2 off - 3 on)
& 6:00AM – 6:00PM (2 on - 2 off - 3 on)
Job Summary:
The Crew Lead reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for the execution of Hard Services for all ASML buildings during their assigned shift. This includes the coordination of all reactive and proactive maintenance work performed with the objective to eliminate all downtime caused by and facility maintenance Hard Services assets/equipment/processes. The Crew Lead will also be responsible to maximize the maintenance work force efficiency and productivity through leadership and innovation, reducing the total maintenance cost and improving facility asset reliability. The Crew Lead will spend the majority of their time in the manufacturing areas ensuring their team executes scheduled work, reacts, troubleshoots, prioritizes, and manages issues that arise on their assigned shift. The Crew Lead is responsible for the uptime of all facility equipment including critical operations and process equipment. The Crew Lead prioritizes and manages all issues to resolution utilizing and managing crew technicians and/or subcontractors to insure minimal downtime or impact to production. The Crew Lead is responsible to establish relationships with all ASML Production Department leaders on their assigned shift establishing lines of open communication. The Crew Lead is responsible for establishing a plan to resolve any issues on their assigned shift and communicate updates and status of repairs to ASML and EMCOR site leadership. The Crew Lead is also responsible for initiating the escalation plan as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Abides by all safety guidelines including OSHA regulations, lock-out/tag-out, etc. Driving the EMCOR Operating and Safety Culture within their assigned crew.
· Employee Safety and Development
o Ensure employees are trained in the safe operation of equipment.
o Ensure training program includes cross-training.
§ Maintain employees’ training records and the operations that they are authorized to perform.
· Employee Daily Tasks
o Ensure the assigned employees are in their assigned work area.
o Ensure all employees are wearing proper PPE.
· Reactive work planning and execution.
o Upon receipt of a corrective work request, respond within 15 minutes to determine priority (P1, 2 or 3) and resources needed to resolve the issue.
o Responsible for determining plan to resolve any issues arising on their assigned shift. If root cause is not able to be repaired, establish a short-term plan to maximize production uptime and a long-term plan to resolve the root cause. Take Ownership of the issue and manage crew and/or vendor to execute the established plan.
o Execute the escalation process as outlined by the process.
o Manage Issues arising on their shift to completion utilizing and directing EMCOR Technicians and/or subcontractors. If Issue cannot be resolved, establish a short term corrective action to maximize equipment uptime.
· Monitor list of PM’s that can be bundled with reactive WO’s.
o Ensure the assigned technician has list of PM’s that can be bundled to reactive WO.
o Update site manager by EOB daily on the effectiveness of bundling.
o Facilitate Shift Turnover Mtg insuring all paperwork is completed for their assigned shift.
· Work with Planner/Scheduler to ensure technician availability for PM’s and reactive work.
· Update site manager on reactive work status (2-hour cycle)
· Document discussions with Craft personnel
· Performs building / WO audits in the field Documenting and reporting the status of critical equipment and processes during the shift.
· Maintains working knowledge of all critical building utilities
· Establish relationships with ASML production leadership on their assigned shift to ensure good communication when issues arise.
· Provide daily objectives and priorities for all teammates and vendors working on your assigned shift.
· Facilitate meetings with assigned crew to include shift turnover, Daily Safety Toolbox, Weekly safety, and any production meetings assigned during shift.
Qualifications:
Education
· High School diploma (or equivalent) required, preference given to those with some undergraduate, trade or business school training.
Business Experience
· 3-5 years of experience in 1 or more crafts, such as HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical
· 2+ years of experience managing craft personnel
Licenses/Certifications
Must possess a valid driver's license
Electrical, Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing Licenses a plus
Language Skills
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or graphic form. Key elements include the ability to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to send/receive emails and be able to manage an email box. Must be able to operate the work order system.
· Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and/or employees

· Understanding of the facilities industry with emphasis in mechanical/electrical fields
· Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
· Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, various operating systems
· Proven track record of completing projects / WOs, being self-motivated and achieving customer satisfaction
· Able to competently operate a forklift, scissor lift, and aerial lift
· Able to function with dynamic priorities, adapting to changing customer expectations and completing work requests efficiently with high quality standards. This may include taking the initiative to productively manage unexpected downtime, remaining productive while contributing to high quality results.
· May need to support non-customary schedules and weekend work
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
