Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced professional to lead the Counterparty Stress Testing team within the Credit Risk Department, based in Budapest. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that is dedicated to covering counterparty credit risk within ISG (Institutional Securities Group) at a portfolio level, including analysing the portfolio risk with each product type, conducting stress loss analysis and collaborating with other areas within Risk and the Business.

You will:
- Lead and coordinate the work of Counterparty Stress Testing team and oversee stress loss production
- Develop in depth knowledge of credit stress testing methodologies and scenario design
- Collaborate with London and New York based stakeholders on high profile strategic and regulatory projects such as CCAR
- Strengthen the counterparty stress loss production framework, identify improvement areas, and implement innovative solutions
- Foster collaboration between Counterparty Stress Testing and other credit departments and regions and find synergies to help global alignment
- Manage infrastructure projects related to data analysis, visualization, and process automation working closely with Risk Analytics, IT and Market Risk
- Manage and mentor direct reports and the team ensuring team members have a clear view of goals and performance, whilst also providing development opportunities
You have:
- 6+ years’ experience in Risk Management or Finance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as leadership experience
- Solid academic background, preferably with a degree in a quantitative discipline, such as economics, finance, statistics/mathematics, sciences, or engineering
- Good understanding of capital markets and financial products
- Experience in using VBA / SQL / Python / R is an advantage
- Attention to detail and prioritization skills will be key in balancing BAU responsibilities with timely implementation of strategic projects
