Job Title: Credit Controller (Temp to Perm)

Salary: £12.21 - £13.00

About the Role:
We are working with a well-established business in Leicester that is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, ideal for someone who is confident managing end-to-end credit control and has proven experience using Xero accounting software.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the credit control function, working closely with both customers and colleagues to maintain strong financial processes and resolve queries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the company’s sales ledger and monitoring overdue accountsChasing outstanding debt by phone and email in a professional mannerAllocating incoming payments and reconciling accountsProducing debtor reports and liaising with management regarding aged debtHandling customer queries and providing excellent service at all timesWorking closely with the wider finance team to improve processesEnsuring compliance with company policies and financial regulationsSkills and Experience Required:
Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar finance roleHands-on experience with Xero is essentialStrong communication and negotiation skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracy in financial administrationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood working knowledge of MS Office, particularly ExcelWhat’s on Offer:
