Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team on a 6-month contract basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment, ensuring effective credit management and cash flow optimisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring timely payments and resolving queries.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and monitor the company’s debtor ledger Chase outstanding payments via phone, email, and written correspondence Resolve customer queries and disputes efficiently and professionally Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers Maintain accurate records of all credit control activity Prepare and distribute aged debt reports to management Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth invoicing and payment processes Support month-end reporting and audit requirements Requirements: Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable Strong communication and negotiation skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar) Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Immediate availability preferred
