Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Credit & Collections Specialist for an Oconomowoc, WI area organization. In this role, you will manage credit applications, oversee commercial collections, and ensure the approval process aligns with company standards. Responsibilities: • Review and process credit applications with accuracy and efficiency. • Manage commercial collections, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolution of outstanding balances. • Approve credit limits based on company policies and financial analysis. • Maintain detailed records of customer accounts and payment histories. • Collaborate with internal teams to address credit-related issues and improve processes. • Provide exceptional customer service to resolve disputes and maintain positive relationships. • Prepare reports on credit and collections activities for management review. • Analyze financial data to assess creditworthiness and mitigate risks. • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Requirements • Proven experience in credit and collections, preferably within a commercial setting. • Strong understanding of credit application processes and financial analysis. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Proficiency in managing customer accounts and resolving disputes. • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions regarding credit approvals. • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements. • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for credit and collections. • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
