Description We are looking for a detail-oriented AR/Credit Clerk to join our team in the Middlesex County, New Jersey area. This role is ideal for an individual with a background in accounts receivable and credit management, who is eager to contribute to a growing organization. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts receivable processes, including posting payments to customer accounts. • Prepare and send customer statements to ensure timely payment. • Match bills of lading with freight bills to ensure accuracy in records. • Reconcile purchase orders with vendor invoices to maintain financial accuracy. • Organize and maintain credit files and related documentation. • Handle filing and mailing tasks associated with customer statements. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and manage financial data. • Support incoming and outgoing payment processes, ensuring smooth transactions. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage credit files effectively. • Experience handling bills of lading and purchase orders. • Familiarity with preparing and reconciling customer and vendor statements. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams. • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
