PenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Credit Card Performance Analytics Manager at our Tysons, Virginia location. The primary purpose of this position is to improve card profitability and performance analytics across multiple areas and strategies. The role will work with teammates, other PenFed teams, and external partners to analyze credit card behavior and performance and develop and execute strategies that grow new account acquisition and existing cardholder engagement while maximizing profitability. This role will also work closely risk and data analytics to develop/maintain/apply NPV models for product level/segment level/account level to optimize economics on cards. Build and maintain PenFed‘s Cards segmentation and targeting strategy for use in acquisitions and engagement strategies. Develop strategies to attract more card holders and more usage, while maintaining the efficiency of marketing and processing and minimize credit losses. Understand industry offerings, trends, and opportunities to make PenFed’s cards more competitive/attractive to target segments. Integrate data from multiple sources to derive insights and inform strategies for the credit card business. Present business insights and recommendation to team members, partners, and executive leadership. Understand cardholder behavioral, credit, and demographic analysis to identify segments with high growth potential & profitable prospects. Provide recommendations to effectively target these segments and create products and features that align with segment preferences and behaviors. Develop and optimize NPV models and forecasts among card members acquired within the risk tolerance/appetite. Work with BI team to develop effective scorecards and KPIs. Conduct strategic analyses of segments, products, and pricing to understand customer experience, and improve business strategy and acquisitions efficiency. Qualifications Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field is required. Master’s Degree in a quantitative or a related field is highly preferred. Minimum of eight (8) years of related work experience required, preferably in Financial Industry (Bank, Credit Union, Insurance) with a focus in analytics and reporting. Including but not limited to performance measurement, financial analysis, product growth. Hands-on skills in SQL, Python/R, Tableau, Snowflake, and proficiency working with large dataset are preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel (i.e., Pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, index/match, SUMIF) and PowerPoint skills are required. Ability to use data to illustrate business performance, risks, and develop materials for all levels of the company, from operational to C-level audience. Effectively interact and communicate with varying levels of leadership across a broad network of resources. Ability to manage many initiatives simultaneously while providing progressive delivery. Proven project management and executive presentation skills. Supervisory Responsibility This position will not supervise employees. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise. *Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.* Travel Ability to travel to various worksites and be on-call may be required.
