JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX is growing and our Finance team is looking for a Credit and Reporting Analyst.  Working independently and as part of a team, the Credit and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for timely and efficient credit investigations on advertising agencies and direct advertisers running across our Sports, Entertainment & Tubi properties. In addition, you will be working across multiple platforms, pulling data and metrics to support the Credit & Collections department.  If you enjoy deriving insights from data, organizing information in Excel, and have strong communication and people skills, read on!  

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

Credit-related Duties

Research financial information on potential new advertisers and agenciesReview upcoming ads, conduct credit investigations, and make recommendations on creditworthinessReview future business reports and monitor accounts deemed a credit riskUpdate and maintain credit investigation documentation for reference and audit purposesWork internally with sales teams to retrieve payments for clients required to pay in advanceCreate and maintain good relationships with agency, sales, and administrative contacts

Reporting Duties

Run EDI billing report and follow up to ensure timely billingRun monthly analytical reports for the Credit & Collections department, including year-over-year Accounts Receivable analysis, average payment statistics and credit hold reportsRun various ad hoc reportsPull weekly cash receipts report for Corporate FinanceOversee monthly small balance write-off and unclaimed property processMaintain collector assignments in the Get Paid collection system

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor’s degree (finance or accounting preferred)Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (including Sorting, Searching, Filtering, Formulas, X Look-up, Pivot Tables)Working familiarity with financial databases/systemsAbility to read and interpret financial statements including balance sheets, P&L’s, cash flow reports, etc.Strong reporting skills, with the ability to create and maintain efficient business reports which produce relevant customer informationStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, working independently as well as part of a teamExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and problem solvingExcellent interpersonal skills

2+ years of credit experienceMedia Agency/Advertiser experienceExperience evaluating credit applications by checking references and canvassing media peers Experience in interpreting 3rd party credit reports (Creditsafe, D&B, S&P)

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $32.00-36.30 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
