Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Florence, New Jersey. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in credit and collections, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about ensuring financial accuracy. As part of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our accounts receivable operations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payments.
• Perform account reconciliations to verify financial records and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and execute cash collections, ensuring prompt receipt of payments from clients.
• Handle billing operations with precision and adherence to company policies.
• Apply cash receipts accurately to customer accounts, maintaining detailed records.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address billing inquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounts receivable processes and enhance efficiency.
• Analyze accounts to identify outstanding balances and take appropriate action to recover overdue payments.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Maintain compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements in all credit and collections activities. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, and collections roles.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation and cash collections processes.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable systems and billing procedures.
• Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and documentation standards.
• Solid organizational skills and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
