Job Profile Summary
Responsible for the organization's credit policy including the assessment of credit applications and outstanding credit. Manages or performs work in some/all of the following areas: • Researching credit history • Applying acceptable credit lines and payment terms to a new customer and/or supplier accounts • Collection and maintenance of customer accounts • Follow-up correspondence, resolution and escalation of overdue accounts
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews, analyzes, and approves or denies customer credit applications.Manages credit hold policy, reviewing customer account status, payment, and collections.Provides communications to MAs (marketing associate), on customer accounts. Handles escalated collection accounts.Performs regular review of customer files to manage risk and remain compliant with audit controls.Makes recommendations on bad debt management.QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Experience
Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience credit experience.Strong MS Office skills.
