Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing risk on existing customers by conducting credit reviews and analysis on accounts that have breached predefined parameters. This will include gathering and reviewing information such as credit bureau reports, chargeback history reports and customer’s transaction reports. Accounts will be monitored to identify potential risk to mitigate losses to Elavon.
Main Duties include:
To detect & monitor changes in existing customers processingAnalyse existing merchants who have breached predefined parametersComplete financial and business analysis reports within our systems or in written form as requiredResponsible for the investigation of additional risk on existing accountsWorking closely with our Fraud, Chargebacks & Collections DepartmentsMake credit decisions within allocated sign off levelDealing with customers on a range of credit & risk issuesEffective time management and ability to meet deadlinesGood team playerAbility to identify when an issue needs to be escalatedPositive approach and the ability to be self-motivatedSupport management with tasks as necessaryMain Qualification, Skills and Experience include:
Business degree or similar qualification;Excellent credit analysis and analytical skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishExcellent decision making skillsAccuracy and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced pressurised environmentGood Microsoft Office SkillsPrevious credit underwriting experience is an advantageAbility to read and interpret financial statementsSelf-motivator who works effectively on their own initiative;Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service;Proven track record of dealing with difficult customer queries and providing excellent customer serviceAlternative language skills are an advantage but not a requirementHybrid/flexible schedule:
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
