Credit Analyst
Description We are looking for a skilled Credit Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in evaluating credit risks, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring the financial health of client portfolios. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work collaboratively across departments while contributing to the development of effective credit policies and procedures. Responsibilities: • Review and maintain detailed credit history files and set appropriate credit limits for clients. • Evaluate the creditworthiness of accounts using external risk management tools and financial reports. • Monitor accounts receivable portfolios, addressing overdue payments and proactively resolving potential issues. • Document and track all collection activities, including customer communications and payment arrangements. • Investigate and resolve disputes related to account discrepancies and billing issues. • Respond to credit-related inquiries from internal teams and external clients. • Identify financial risks, including potential bad debts, and escalate concerns to management. • Provide regular updates to management on collection progress and highlight high-risk accounts. • Collaborate with internal teams to improve credit and collection processes and workflows. • Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing credit systems and policies Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit analysis and collections. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess credit risk. • Excellent problem-solving abilities to address customer-related issues effectively. • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with other Office applications. • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. • Highly detail-oriented with a results-driven mindset. • Experience with SharePoint and other credit-related systems is an asset.
