Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to evaluate financial data, assess creditworthiness, and support decision-making processes for clients. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in analyzing financial statements, calculating credit risk, and assisting with the overall management of credit policies. This role is critical to fostering sound lending and financial practices. Key Responsibilities + Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to evaluate the creditworthiness of clients and businesses. + Conduct detailed risk assessments and recommend credit decisions based on analysis. + Establish and maintain credit limits in compliance with company policies and risk guidelines. + Monitor customer accounts and prepare credit reviews or updates as needed. + Assist with the resolution of delinquent accounts and collaborate with collections teams on payment plans. + Prepare and present credit recommendations and reports to management or stakeholders. + Stay informed of economic trends and industry risks to enhance credit evaluation processes. Requirements + 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or a related financial role. + Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field required. + Proficiency in financial modeling tools, spreadsheets, and credit analysis software is ideal. Strong Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables and data analysis) are a plus. + Excellent analytical ability, strong attention to detail, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of financial ratios, cash flow, and credit metrics is essential. + Certification as a Credit Analyst (CCA) or similar credentials is a bonus but not required.
