Our client is a growing leader in the financial industry, specializing in providing comprehensive credit solutions to businesses and individuals. They are seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join their team. This role is essential for ensuring the organization's risk management strategies and maintaining credit policies while fostering strong client relationships.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
+ Assess and analyze the financial health of individuals or organizations to determine creditworthiness.
+ Conduct thorough evaluations of credit applications, financial statements, and payment histories to make recommendations for approval or denial of credit requests.
+ Perform in-depth financial ratio and trend analysis to support lending decisions.
+ Monitor ongoing credit accounts to ensure compliance with established loan terms and identify potential risks.
+ Issue timely and accurate credit reports, risk assessments, and correspondence related to credit decisions.
+ Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales and account management) to provide guidance on credit limits and risk exposure.
+ Stay updated on current industry regulations, economic trends, and credit-related policies to ensure compliance and sound recommendations.
+ Support the preparation of portfolio reviews and presentations for senior management and/or regulatory bodies.
Requirements
+ 1–3 years of credit analysis, financial analysis, or related experience required. Experience in a banking, real estate, or corporate finance environment is a plus
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required. Progress toward CFA certification or similar credentials is a bonus.
+ Proficiency in financial analysis tools and credit evaluation systems.
+ Familiarity with software such as SAP, Oracle, or other loan management platforms (or ERP systems).
+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data modeling, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
+ Demonstrated understanding of financial statements, credit principles, and financial ratios.
+ Strong critical thinking abilities, excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
