Description We are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to join our team in Lombard, Illinois. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in evaluating credit risk, managing collections, and ensuring compliance with commercial lending standards. Responsibilities: • Analyze credit applications and financial statements to assess risk and determine creditworthiness. • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial clients to manage collections effectively. • Implement and monitor credit policies to ensure compliance with company standards. • Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for management review. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and ensure timely account reconciliation. • Monitor accounts receivable and address overdue payments promptly. • Conduct market research to identify trends and make informed credit decisions. • Support the implementation of strategies to optimize credit and collections processes. • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. • Provide insights and recommendations to improve overall credit management strategies. Requirements • Proven experience in credit analysis, including commercial credit and collections. • Strong understanding of financial statements and credit applications. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships. • Proficiency in analyzing data and preparing comprehensive credit reports. • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to credit and collections. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
