Credit Analyst

We have an opportunity for a **Credit Analyst** to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest, where you will be a part of Treasury Credit Risk Management team. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.
**_This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026._**

**Key responsibilities**
+ Analyze financial statements, credit agency ratings, and customer payment behavior to evaluate credit risk, prepare clear credit recommendations, and set credit limits on new and existing customer accounts.
+ Enforce the Credit Policy, approvals authority, and all credit-related SOX requirements.
+ Maintain credit limits, check rules, and other credit settings in ERP system according to customer credit risk and business requirements.
+ Proactively monitor credit risk. Recommend solutions to business when credit deterioration is identified. Learn from bankruptcies and credit losses.
+ Strive to achieve internal customer delight. Internal customers include collections, sales, finance leaders, customer excellence, ISC. Ensure internal customer requests are completed timely per quality standards.
+ Review Extended Terms Requests and provide motivated credit recommendations.
+ Support Lean management: continuous improvement, standardized work, Problem Solving and 5S.
+ Support new team members onboarding and knowledge sharing.
+ Ad-hoc project work and other reasonable activities not named which is required by leadership.
**Key skills and qualifications**
+ Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Corporate Finance, or related discipline required.
+ Minimum of 2 years related experience, preferably in Credit, financial analysis, or Customer to Cash.
+ Experience in assessing Corporate Credit risk by analyzing Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow statement, ratio and trends).
+ Strong problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
+ Experience with SAP, MS Excel, MS Outlook
+ Fluency in English
**We value**
+ Experience in working with credit reports provided by external Credit Agencies.
+ Experience working in a Shared Service environment or Center of Excellence for an industrial company
+ Experience in building effective financial presentations in MS PowerPoint
+ Advanced SAP, Excel, Jira.
+ Strong knowledge in overall Customer to Cash processes
+ Fluency in another regional language
+ Six Sigma Green Belt certified
