Credit Administrator
GFL is growing, and we’re looking for a Credit Administrator to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with our internal teams to help maintain healthy customer accounts, ensure accurate credit information, and support the credit team with day-to-day tasks. If you have experience in customer service, banking, or collections and want to build a career in finance, this is a great opportunity to get started in a corporate credit role.

A “Day in the Life” of a Credit Administrator:

Support account health by reviewing credit terms, limits, and payment activity to identify risks or trendsBuild strong relationships with clients to support smooth payments and healthy accountsKeep records of customer conversations, payment promises, and any issues in our systemMake sure customer account details, contact info, and credit limits are accurate and up to dateFlag credit concerns to the right internal team membersHelp gather documents and data for external audits when neededMonitor reports and credit activityReview basic credit or financial information to help make account decisions (training provided)Work closely with teams like finance, sales, and operationsSuggest ways to improve how we manage credit

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1–3 years of experience in collections, customer service, or bankingConfident and professional when speaking with customers, even in tough conversationsDetail-oriented and reliable—you follow through and get things doneAble to stay organized and manage multiple tasks at onceComfortable using Excel, Outlook, and other internal systemsMotivated to learn and grow in credit or financeB2B experience is helpful but not required—we’ll provide training
