What you'll do:

As a Credit Administration Officer you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the overall strategy of Credit Administration for enhanced credit risk management, policy governance, operations, and change management oversight processes. You will assist in the management of the development and execution of remediation plans and prepare reports for Executive Management and the Board. One of your key responsibilities is to collaborate with the Bank’s business units, operational and administrative departments and bank regulators in reviewing and applying regulatory guidance and regulations throughout the various Credit Administration functions. As a Credit Administration Officer you will assist in ensuring all Credit Administration policies, procedures, and processes are documented and updated according to regulatory and internal standards.Responsible for supporting the Credit Administration Operations and Governance Director and the team on all Credit Administration policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and frameworks for financial services institutions. Monitor and assess Credit Administration governance and compliance programs and initiatives, and responsible for ensuring first line of defense, Enterprise Risk Management, SOX, and other governance controls in Credit Administration are in place and functioning effectively.Advise and coordinate with the business units, Credit Administration, Credit Risk & Review, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit/SOX, and other internal partners to facilitate Credit Administration governance, risk and compliance activities. Provide clear, pragmatic support and guidance with regard to the interpretation and adoption of regulatory requirement changes, and advises Credit Administration’s senior and executive management about impact and recommended strategies.Serve as the lead on certain Credit Administration governance processes and tasks, which may include but is not limited to email communication, collection of Company-wide reporting, and Credit Administration review processes. Serve as a point of contact and provide subject matter expertise for risk management, change management, and governance for Credit Administration processes, new credit products, and new business lines. Formulate management and Board reports, responses, and remediation plans, supervising the data collection and validation process.Support Credit Administration in the use of credit software and databases with respect to credit risk management processes, data and reporting.

What you'll need:

5+ years of related experience in Credit Administration or similar field.Bachelor's degree in related field required.Previous leadership experience preferred.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.Intermediate to advanced experience with CreditLens, FIS and Fiserv systems preferred.Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
