Team Overview:
In the Wealth Management Advice & Solutions (WMAS) division, we innovate, develop, evolve, and manage integrated advice, planning, products, and services, leveraging deep understanding of client and branch team needs. The Business Banking Unit is an area within WMAS helping branch teams to serve clients more deeply and effectively through the development and delivery of products, services, and processes to help clients specifically with their cash, savings, spending, and borrowing needs. We achieve this by building better tools and resources for branches and clients to explore as part of their full financial picture, to enhance the client experience.

To further assist our clients in making sound financial choices, Edward Jones established the Utah based Industrial Bank. This bank will offer cash sweep deposits and securities-based lending services to Edward Jones clients to enhance versatility of our offerings and engage clients holistically on more of their financial and investment needs in the short, medium and long term.

What You Will Do:
We are seeking a Credit Analyst to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The position would be responsible to the Chief Credit Officer of the start-up, de novo bank affiliated with Edward Jones.

This role would assist in the analysis of risk within credit portfolios, in particular with securities-based lending. The position will also play an active role in the formulation and reporting on credit metrics and portfolios for senior management and lending committees, as well as reporting to meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Development and maintenance of credit related reports that reflect portfolio and collateral trendsPortfolio collateral monitoring and reportingMonitoring of credit established limits and triggersMaintaining schedule of all credit related policies, procedures and Loan, counterparty and vendor reviewsMonitoring and reporting of all Bank credit related exceptions of underwriting guidelines and policiesAssist the CCO in management, compliance and regulatory reportingMonitoring and reporting of compliance with Credit related loan conditionsMonitoring of the Bank's margin call processMonitoring and reporting of economic, business and industry trends as pertains to lendingAnalysis of Credit portfolio trends and identification of potential risk segmentsInteraction with 3rd Party Vendors regarding the Credit report platformAssist in the Credit review of loans as needed

What Experience You Need:

Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience2+ years' experience as a Credit Officer or equivalent position in the banking/financial services industryStrong communication and organizational skillsExperience in financial services with an emphasis in the securities industry and securities-based lending Must be able to evaluate portfolio trends and recognize areas of potential riskDetermine proper tools for risk analysis and to engage in the decision-making process of areas of risk focus
