Credentialing Supervisor

System One is seeking a Credentialing Supervisor to lead and support a credentialing team for a Tulsa based healthcare organization. This role is responsible for supervising staff, overseeing workflows, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. The Credentialing Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining accurate provider data, supporting credentialing processes, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise credentialing staff, provide coaching and feedback, and promote continuous professional development.

Oversee day-to-day workflows and projects to ensure timely and accurate credentialing activities.

Maintain and update credentialing policies and procedures to meet regulatory and accreditation standards.

Support provider data management, audits, and ongoing monitoring activities.

Coordinate committee agendas, reporting, and follow-up related to credentialing.

Ensure compliance with credentialing processes, including initial applications, reappointments, and delegated credentialing oversight.

Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate credentialing activities.

Prepare and deliver reports on credentialing performance and outcomes.

Manage credentialing-related invoices and committee stipends.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of credentialing practices and regulatory standards.

Education & Experience:

Associate’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred.

Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare, managed care, or health insurance setting.

Previous credentialing experience required.

Supervisory experience preferred (2+ years).

Certification in credentialing (CPMSM or CPCS) preferred.
