Credentialing Coordinator - Health Partners, Part-time

Position Purpose:

 This position is responsible for the monitoring and tracking of providers Medical license, DEA, Malpractice cases and Malpractice insurance per the time lines required by NCQA.  This position also helps support the Managed Care team with facility credentialing which ensures payments for the Hospital system.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Associate degree in administration, health or behavioral science field preferred.Licensure / Certification: Certified Professional Credentialing Services (CPCS) and/orCertified Professional Medical Staff Services Management (CPMSM) certification preferred;(National Association of Medical Staff Services)Experience: Minimum of two years experience performing administrative duties.Experience working with physicians preferred. Credentialing experience preferred.Effective Communication SkillsKnowledge of medical terminology preferred.Knowledge of basic and credentialing computer software including internet use andspreadsheets preferred.Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.Knowledge of external regulatory requirements (ODHHS, ODM, OIG, NCQA) preferred.Ability to problem solve and make decisions.Ability to maintain confidential / sensitive physician information.
