The Opportunity:
We are looking for a technically curious, design-savvy Creative Technologist with 3-5 years of hands-on development to support the development and execution of dynamic, on-brand digital experiences across email, web, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). This role will serve as a key support partner to our Creative Technologist Manager, helping bring ideas to life with clean, responsive code and scalable component design.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and code, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to contribute independently.
What You’ll Do:
2–4+ years of hands-on experience building responsive email and web experiences
Build responsive email and web experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including jQuery or Vue.js)
Develop and maintain components for SFMC using AMPscript and SSJS
Translate Figma (or Sketch) designs into pixel-perfect, accessible, production-ready code
Conduct QA, rendering, and link testing across browsers, devices, and email clients
Work independently while aligning with Creative Technologist Manager on standards, timelines, and direction
Collaborate with back-end developers and UX/UI designers to ensure usability and consistency
Maintain and contribute to internal design systems, component libraries, and documentation
Initiate and execute longer-term improvements to process efficiency, quality, and technical debt reduction
Solve complex technical challenges related to performance, responsiveness, and scalability
Plan and manage sprints or issue queues in collaboration with the broader team, supporting team efficiency and leadership development
Write clear functional requirement documents and implementation guides
Contribute to frontend best practices and innovation across marketing technology platforms
Assist in onboarding or mentoring junior developers or interns as needed, contributing to the culture of growth and collaboration
Ensure accessibility and compliance with current web standards

What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of experience in front-end development, creative technology, or email/web development
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including hands-on experience with modern frameworks/libraries
Strong experience working within SFMC (AMPscript, SSJS, Cloud Pages, Email Studio, Content Builder)
Familiarity with Litmus, Email on Acid, and cross-browser testing tools
Understanding of SEO optimization and frontend performance strategies
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive design principles, and UX fundamentals
Experience with Git, CMS tools, and deployment workflows
Familiarity with Python or SQL is a plus
Comfortable translating visual design into clean, efficient code
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
Highly organized, self-motivated, and solution-oriented
Portfolio showcasing examples of web or email development work
Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud design systems or cross-cloud integrations preferred
Automotive industry or retail marketing experience is a plus
Experience contributing to or managing small projects or feature builds
Understanding of marketing concepts such as customer journeys, A/B testing, personalization, and conversion optimization
