WMBB News 13 (Nexstar Media Group) is seeking a passionate and talented Creative Services Producer to join our creative team. This position is ideal for a skilled videographer, editor, and storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This is not an entry-level position. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit an online reel or portfolio of recent work to be considered.

The Creative Services Producer operates television or video cameras to record images or scenes for commercial and promotional spots and operates editing equipment to produce images or scenes for commercial and promotional spots.

Write, produce, direct, shoot, and edit content for commercials, promotions, and digital platformsOperate cameras and lighting for studio and field productionShoot video for lifestyle shows, interviews, and community event coverageOrganize and edit raw footage into polished, story-driven contentCollaborate with creative staff, sales teams, clients, and community partnersMaintain production schedules and meet all project deadlinesProficiently operate Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and PhotoshopSet up and manage shoots including talent, locations, and equipment needsHandle post-production, including color correction, graphics integration, and audio mixingMaintain and organize video and editing equipmentPerform other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:

 

2+ years of professional or academic experience in video productionProficiency with professional video equipment and non-linear editing systemsAdobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition)Strong writing/storytelling skills and attention to visual detailExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlinesHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordFluent in English (oral and written)

Preferred:

Broadcast or agency production experienceExperience with Ross Xpression, OBS, or similar broadcast softwareFamiliarity with TV and digital aspect ratios, codecs, and file formats
