We are looking for a creative producer to drive the continued growth of Allure & SELF’s video and social video content. As Creative Producer, Allure & SELF you will work alongside video and editorial teams to create premium content our subscribers and followers will watch, like and share. The Creative Producer has a history of creating and executing high concept digital videos, working with and directing A-List celebrities, highly esteemed experts and everyday people. This role is based in New York and will report to the Director, Content Production, for Allure & SELF. This is a Guild position.
Primary Responsibilities
Handles all production logistics for a shoot. Working collaboratively with other Creative Producer, Coordinating Producer and/or AP when needed.
Is the driving force behind their shoots. Directs, produces, researches, this role does it all and displays an “all hands on deck” approach to their work ethic
Excellent knowledge of video, audio and graphics needed throughout the pre & post production process
Ability to work collaboratively and can take feedback and notes on their projects
Have an expert knowledge of video online including YouTube, Tiktok, and Instagram.
Collaborate with the creative/strategy teams to bring key concepts to life, but not limited to: renew existing series, revamp format and platform, etc.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time while working under tight deadlines with limited resources
The individual has experience interacting and managing a-list talent and their reps with professionalism and discretion, as a face of the brand
This individual will lead production, provide direction, and partner closely with crew members in the field/studio
Works closely with Production Management, Producers, and Post Production teams
Reviewing, editing, and approving preliminary and final treatments, outlines, shooting scripts, scripts, casting, production schedules, budgets, and final versions of all assigned programs, with supervision from the Director of Content Production.
Manage or support the post production process, responsible for collecting all creative notes through the process, and ensure deadlines are being met. Requirements are, but not limited to: schedules, paper-cuts, hand-off emails, selects, graphics, music, rough cuts, fine cuts, final narration and final versions, with supervision from the Director of Content Production.
This individual can quickly pick-up new skills and is willing to become an expert in their field
Align with brand editorial priorities and KPIs
Produce and direct shoots for all video and social platforms, including celebrity and editor-led content
Set up, capture, and break down on-set EQ for regular social video shoots
Ability to self-film high-quality iPhone video covering live cultural events (eg, red carpets, event coverage, cover shoots)
Generate ideas for pre-existing series as well as creating new pilots for all digital video platforms including TikTok, Reels, and YouTube
Additional duties as required, or as assigned by manager
Skills and Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in digital media, with 1–3 years in beauty, health, or female sports industries
Deep knowledge of beauty, wellness, fitness, professional sports, and pop culture
Proven ability to conceptualize, script, and produce beauty and health-related video content
Experience creating content around trends, industry culture, and sensitive women's health topics
Skilled in interviewing high-profile talent, including actors, athletes, and subject-matter experts
Proficient in writing interview questions and creative concepts; on-set interview experience required
Familiarity with video EQ gear, iPhone filming, and post-production workflows
Strong grasp of digital platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and video engagement strategies
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and align creative work with business goals
Experience collaborating with internal teams and external producers

The expected base salary range for this position is from $87,000-$100,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
