The Creative Merchandising Coordinator will be responsible for organizing & managing product used in marketing photo and video shoots to ensure accurate and appropriate product placement. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, deep understanding of gear, and is self-motivated. This role provides an opportunity for the candidate to further their career at Backcountry, while gaining exposure to the various departments in the organization. This role is challenging – above and beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll have a big role within a fast-paced team. This position will report into the Production Manager.What you get to do every day: Overall organization of photo studio hardgood and softgood product samplesWorking with Buying teams to request vendor samples for content shootsWork with Marketing teams to align product ordering to annual calendarOrdering, receiving, organizing, and prepping product to be shotPacking and building product to be sent on location shootsManaging product transportation and prep for on-location capturesBoxing and returning products to align with return windowsTroubleshooting shipping issues/delays and working with warehouse to guarantee timely delivery of featured productHarness AI solutions to simplify ordering, tracking, and scheduling processes, elevating workflow efficiency and fueling scalable creative operationsWhat you bring to the role: Excellent organizational and communication skillsProven knowledge of outdoor apparel, gear and their technical featuresAbility to be on your feet, lifting & moving boxes under 50lbsVisual merchandising or retail experience preferredBachelor’s degree preferredInterest and understanding of the Backcountry Brand aesthetic and customerAbility to perform under pressure and prioritize competing tasksProficient in Microsoft Excel with What’s in it for you?
