The candidate must show good judgment and continually improve their level of knowledge about Amazon’s business and our intersection with our commitment to The Climate Pledge. The IMPACT team is seeking an experienced Creative Marketing Manager, Go-to-Market Lead with a passion for technology to develop go-to-market storytelling and programming for sustainability. The Go-to-Market Lead will develop and drive our sustainability storytelling roadmap, deliver top-notch written material, and lead cross-functional teams to create standard-setting content that will enhance sustainability solutions and advance the leadership position of Amazon Sustainability worldwide. This candidate has a strong technology background combined with a passion for storytelling and experience with bringing products and announcements to market. We’re looking for an excellent writer and creative thinker who can influence and maintain enterprise-wide consistency for written communication and message delivery. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, a collaborative working style, and ability to articulate the most complex technical concepts in terms that make sense to customers, employees, and the public. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in the development and delivery of Sustainability most important solutions. Key job responsibilities - Influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to accelerate delivery of Amazon’s 2040 net zero carbon commitment - Develop and execute a customer-led go-to-market approach for Amazon Sustainability - Deliver high-impact messaging, storylines, content, and marketing programs for sustainability solutions, including executive materials, web copy, presentations, and articles - Develop and implement a cross-functional center of excellence to ensure stakeholders are coordinated in their efforts to communicate Amazon Sustainability’s most important messages - Develop and execute bar-raising programs on writing across product marketing and product management teams - Cultivate a distinctive brand and employ creativity to drive program awareness, generate excitement, and get stakeholders to take necessary action - Develop robust strategies that utilize a variety of external and internal channels About the team Diverse Experiences: World Wide Sustainability values diverse experiences. Basic Qualifications - 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience - Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications - Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions - Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery - Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers) - Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives - Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines - Sustainability, climate, environmental and/or human rights expertise Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $139,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
