The Social Impact Department at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Creative Director to join our team! We are seeking a visionary and strategic Creative Director to lead the content strategy and implementation for Univision Contigo, our flagship Social Impact initiative. This role sits at the intersection of purpose, storytelling, and community engagement shaping how we activate our brand mission through culturally resonant, multi-platform campaigns, and events that uplift and empower our communities.
As Creative Director, you will be responsible for building and executing innovative, insight-driven content strategies that span across key pillars: health, wealth, education, and civic engagement. You will oversee a digital strategist and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our stories are not only aligned with our mission but also reflect the unique voices of the audience we serve. You will also work closely with the Univision Foundation on key initiatives that advance its mission, ensuring cohesive storytelling and programs that create impact.
This position reports directly to the VP of Social Impact.
The ideal candidate for the Creative Director, Social Impact role is a bilingual, visionary leader with 8–10 years of media experience creating impactful content tailored to the U.S. Hispanic market. They are a strategic storyteller with a deep passion for community engagement, skilled in designing culturally resonant, multi-platform campaigns that align with our social impact goals.
YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)
Design and implement integrated, multi-market content strategies tailored to local insights while staying aligned with national impact goals.Own the creative vision and brand voice for Univision Contigo, driving storytelling that connects deeply with audiences across regional and cultural contexts.Conceptualize and produce high-impact, community-based campaigns and events that foster meaningful audience engagement and drive measurable social outcomes.Manage end-to-end creative and production processes for both live and pre-recorded social impact events, including ideation, scripting, talent management, and on-site execution.Partner with internal teams such as marketing, programming, community affairs, and external partners to ensure unified messaging, strategic alignment, and optimal resource deployment.Apply performance insights and community feedback to refine creative strategies, ensuring continuous learning and content effectiveness.Lead the creative development and production of content in support of Univision Foundation programs, with an emphasis on grant-funded initiatives, ensuring all deliverables meet funder expectations and reflect the Foundation’s mission.YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)
