**Overview**
Join our innovative, fast-paced design team and bring lottery tickets to life! We're seeking a creative, diligent Graphic Designer to create visually stunning and engaging lottery tickets, marketing materials, and production-ready files. This role offers a blend of creativity and technical expertise, enabling you to tackle exceptionally challenging projects and collaborate with world-class professionals.
**Responsibilities**
**Design Development:**
Create scratch ticket designs, inserts, and marketing materials based on sales efforts and client requests, ensuring compliance with brand and legal standards.
**Collaboration:**
Partner with Account Services, Sales, and Prepress teams to optimize designs, streamline file preparation, and assist in special projects, including international markets.
**File Preparation:**
Generate and convert print-ready artwork into various formats while maintaining digital prepress standards.
**Quality Assurance:**
Review and refine artwork for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with manufacturing specifications.
**Technical Expertise:**
Maintain proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and digital printing methods.
**Key Design Skills & Expertise:**
**Foundational Skills:** Ability to develop concepts, execute basic design tasks, and prepare production-ready files with guidance.
**Project Management & Independence:** Capability to manage multiple projects, handle complex designs, and contribute to design improvements with minimal supervision.
**Technical Expertise & Problem-Solving:** Skilled in troubleshooting design and production challenges, refining technical specifications, and ensuring precision in execution.
**Strategic & Process Improvement:** Expertise in driving sophisticated design initiatives, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with teams to enhance department efficiency
**Collaboration and Communication:**
Act as the primary liaison between the Graphic Designer’s and Account Services, Sales, and Prepress teams, fostering clear communication, seamless workflow, and alignment across projects.
Collaborate closely with Account Services, Sales, and Prepress teams to address any file preparation, production, or design adjustments needed to meet client requirements.
Ensure open channels of communication with cross-functional departments to resolve issues quickly and proactively, maintaining team cohesion and client satisfaction.
**Problem-Solving:**
Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve complex design or production challenges, ensuring that client specifications, design integrity, and manufacturing capabilities are all met.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to refine internal processes, increase team efficiency, and foster a more creative and productive work environment.
**Qualifications**
**Brightstar Lottery Global Requirements:**
Follow all Brightstar Lottery policies, procedures, and rules related to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality, Information Security, Environmental Compliance, et al.
**Experience Required (years of experience, specific industry or previous job experience requirements)**
2-7 years of experience in graphic design, offset printing, prepress, or related fields, depending on level.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop) is essential.
Knowledge of offset prepress operations, print layouts, and printing methods is preferred.
**Skills Required (software, technical, industry, equipment, lifting, and physical requirements)**
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with a strong emphasis on Adobe Illustrator.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex processes and procedures related to department operations.
• Positive attitude, good written, and verbal communication skills.
**Preferred Education, Experience or Skills (preferred degree(s), software, experience, equipment, etc)**
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is a plus.
Knowledge of page imposition, digital printing methods, print layouts, and related print procedures is preferred.
Familiarity with press or printing operations is preferred.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $ _40,887 - $115,000_ . The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
