Craft Recruiter- Constructors
**Description** The Craft Recruiter provides full life cycle, national recruitment, in support of business goals and initiatives, while providing outstanding service to internal clients and creating an excellent candidate experience. This is an onsite position for our Constructors group in the Pearland office of Houston, Texas. + Responsible for recruiting craft professionals for multiple construction projects throughout the US. + Assists in the coordination and administration of field/craft recruiting, including employment advertising, affirmative action postings, screening resumes/job applications, arranging interviews and administering various skills assessment tests. + Maintains applicant tracking information and updates database on a regular basis. + Analyzes craft and technical personnel needs for current projects through discussions with operations management, project managers, and superintendents + Assists operations management with short and long-term craft planning and resource needs. + Monitors and stays current with industry trends and best practices in all aspects of craft recruiting and makes recommendations for new or improved practices. + Administers drug testing, craft skills testing and other pre-employment applicant activities. + Coordinates safety and/or other client-specific training with operations management and the Safety department. + Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws and corporate policies and procedures. + Prepares and sends new hire packets, conducts new employee orientations, obtains completed paperwork from new hires and answers applicant/employee questions. + Maintains and updates employee personnel files in a confidential manner. + Performs other duties as required or assigned. + Actively participate in professional networking groups, job fairs, and other recruiting events + Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions and judgments + Demonstrated ability to work independently + Interfacing with members of the senior leadership team, management, clients and members of the community. + Completion of weekly report on employment activity + All other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field; applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirement. + Minimum 4 years of recruiting craft and specialized field/technical employees in the construction industry. + Experience managing the recruitment efforts for multiple projects with minimal supervision or direction + Familiarity with multiple applicant tracking systems (ATS) + Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) This job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filled.
