Job description Secondary Supply Teacher - Wilmslow


Location: Wilmslow and surrounding areas
Salary: £140 - £200 per day (depending on experience and role responsibilities)
Contract Type: Flexible (Day-to-day and short-term assignments)


Aspire People is currently working in partnership with several reputable secondary schools in Wilmslow and the surrounding areas to recruit versatile and committed Supply Teachers for general classroom cover across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced teachers or early career teachers looking to gain valuable experience in a variety of school settings, while maintaining flexibility and control over your working week.


The Role

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular class teacher. You will be expected to manage the classroom effectively, support student learning, and ensure that lessons run smoothly and safely.

You may be working in different schools each week or be placed in short-term roles where continuity and relationship building are key.


Key Requirements

- UK QTS/QTLS or equivalent overseas teaching qualification

- Recent classroom experience in a UK secondary school

- Confidence in delivering a range of subjects at Key Stage 3 and 4

- Strong classroom management and communication skills

- A proactive and flexible attitude to working in new environments
