Job description Secondary Supply Teacher - Oldham


Location: Secondary Schools in Oldham and nearby areas
Daily Rate: £140 - £200 (dependent on experience and assignment type)
Contract Type: Flexible (Day-to-day, short-term and ongoing supply work)

Aspire People is working in collaboration with a number of well-regarded secondary schools across Oldham that are seeking reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic Supply Teachers to provide short-term and daily cover across a range of subjects.

Role Overview:

You will be expected to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task and complete the work provided. While no marking or planning is required, your ability to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment is key.

Each day will offer new challenges, making this an ideal role for those who enjoy variety and are confident delivering across the secondary curriculum.

What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or a recognised teaching qualification

- Recent experience teaching in a UK secondary setting

- Confidence delivering a range of subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4

- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

- A flexible and professional approach to new environments and teaching styles
