Location: Bolton
Salary: Grade 5 SCP 11 - 15 | £27,269 - £29,093 (Pro Rata - Term Time + 2 Weeks)
Hours: 7.30am-4.00pm (Mon-Thurs) | 7.30am-12.30pm (Fri)
Contract Type: Term Time + 2 Weeks

This inclusive and high-achieving all girls school is seeking to appoint a professional, organised, and proactive Cover/Educational Visits & Events Co-ordinator to join their dedicated team.

The Role:
As the Cover/Educational Visits & Events Co-ordinator, you will play a crucial part in managing teaching cover arrangements, coordinating enriching educational visits, and organising a range of important school events throughout the year.
You will report to the HR Manager and be part of a wider administrative team committed to delivering excellence in service and support across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover Coordination
- Produce and manage the daily cover rota, ensuring effective and fair use of internal and external cover staff.
- Liaise with HR and supply agencies regarding staff absences.
- Ensure that appropriate cover work is in place and communicated effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and generate cover reports as required.
- Support the coordination of room bookings and calendar scheduling.
- Educational Visits
- Work closely with staff to ensure educational visits are well-planned and fully compliant with safeguarding and risk management policies.
- Manage transport and venue bookings, as well as trip administration via online systems.
- Liaise with the finance team regarding trip funding and approval processes.
- Events Management
- Coordinate and provide operational support for key whole-school events such as Open Evenings, Presentation Evenings, and Sports Days.
- Ensure all logistical and administrative aspects of events are well planned and executed.
- Support with the organisation of extracurricular activities and maintain the school calendar.

- Proficient in using administrative systems and office IT tools

- Willing to support the inclusive and respectful ethos of the school
Additional Duties Include:
- Oversight of the school's photocopiers and franking machine
- Supporting the wider admin team and reception as needed
- Attending events to ensure smooth delivery
- First aid training (provided)
- Supporting the school's values of equality, inclusion, and respect
