Courseware Programmer III - HYBRID

SUMMARY

Responsible for the re-engineering of classroom style training content to modern delivery methods based on Performance Learning Objectives (PLOs) and job sheets of selected courses, of which must be captured through existing schoolhouse content. Gaps must then be identified and filled through interviewing/observing instructor provided by Subject Matter Expertise (SMEs).

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the design team with the effective formulation of computer-based training (CBT) products derived from the team’s instructional system design.  Update, design, develop, produce, and integrate computer-based courseware, incorporating interactions, graphics, pre-rendered images, audio, video, and text, and animations for interactive multimedia instruction (IMI) courseware and CBT. Work in team environment to plan, design, develop, test and document up to Level IV IMI. Implement effective software in accordance with instructional design requirements/constraints. Work with storyboards and models to design the software development approach. Interpret technical documentation and work in conjunction with instructional systems designers, modelers, and multi-media specialists to develop accurate and effective CBT. Develop graphics, animations, textures, pre-rendered images, audio, and text incorporated into interactive training solutions. Identify gaps and filled through interviewing/observing instructor provided by SMEs. Update and/or modify curriculum and self-paced training products. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

May act as a technical lead and/or working group lead.
