StarTrack Traralgon are currently seeking a Medium Rigid (MR) Courier Truck Driver for multi drop deliveries. Manual transmission experience mandatory.

About the role

Sorting freight in the warehouseSafely hand loading your truck with freight for your deliveries at the facilityGreat if you enjoy truck driving, physical fitness and customer service  Completing your own daily vehicle safety check   Driving our MR trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and adhoc pick-ups   Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups

About you    

You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.  If you are a truck driver, a courier driver, a delivery driver or you are physically fit and just want to get into the transport industry, this job is for you.

You’ll also need to 

Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident  Hold a medium rigid vehicle license   Be able to drive manual transmission trucksBe fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck.  Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility  Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills  You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or lessBe prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks.
