**Courier/Driver PRN "As Needed" - Mailroom**

**Work location:** Corporate Office - 612 E Lamar, Arlington, TX 76011 – Travel within Texas Health network of clinics and hospitals
**Work environment:** Mail Room
**Work hours:** PRN “as needed” – Monday-Friday between 7am-4:30pm – Shift varies based on business needs. Start and end times are subject to change.
This position does not include medical benefits

Here's What You Need
+ High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
+ No experience required
+ DL - Valid Texas Driver's License (required)
+ Must have a clean driving record, demonstrate operation of company vehicle safely, and current insurance without work travel exclusion.
+ THPG Courier and equipment training will be provided.
A successful Courier/Driver will:
+ Have excellent written and verbal skills in addition to proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to effectively articulate the mission/vision of the Foundation and the entities we represent and demonstrated experience in working with individuals who have philanthropic capacity.
What You Will Do
Position will be assigned a pickup route schedule and will be responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering THPG Lab specimens and clinical mail items daily.
Operate company vehicles safely (obeying all applicable traffic laws and maintaining a clean driving record) while transporting items.
Follow all transportation and lab policies pertaining to medical specimens and protected patient information. Handle specimens properly and safely. Use "Sorry we missed you" tags when needed.
Drive the route effectively to minimize down time and display good time management skills.
Report vehicle maintenance needs to management.
Maintain company vehicle -- keep a clean and sanitary workspace at all times
Create and maintain a good customer service-oriented relationship with clinic personnel.
