Job Description

Must live a commutable distance to Elmsford, NY.  This position is MON-FRI  9am-5:30pm

Compensation- $18/hour plus full benefits

**Must be comfortable driving.**

Courier responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Perform all duties as outlined in the SOP for Couriers.Pick up and deliver samples, bottle orders and report to the laboratory for sign-in and analysis.Count the number of samples when receiving them from clients to make sure that the Chain of Custody and samples match. Verify that samples are not broken or damaged.Receive and sign the Chain of Custody. Ensure that client signs, dates, and records time on the Chain of Custody when releasing samples.Transport samples on ice from client site to the lab, or from our lab to a sub- contracted laboratory.Documenting, packaging and transporting samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocolsResponsible for quality control of all assignment and completing documentsFollowing and enforcing company health and safety policies.Must be able to follow technical instructions and guidance.Prepare bottle kits for clients

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipA valid state issued driver’s license to drive delivery vehicles is required as an employee with driving responsibilities. Clean driving record to drive company vehicle.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.  Samples will be in coolers packed in ice.Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screenProfessional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.Perform other duties as assigned
