Country Officer - Gabon

We’re looking for Country Officer in Gabon that will be responsible for the development of new business opportunities, and maintenance of key customer and other stakeholder relationships.

What you’ll do:

Lead representative of Aggreko in-country, and maintenance of key customer relationships.

Develop key customer relationships; grow the customer base and identify new channels to market.

Drive sector-focused business development and sales per the regional growth strategy

Ensure contract extensions for existing in-country contracts are secured timeously, in shared accountability with the Business Commercial Manager. 

Drive debtors' days reduction

Ensure CSR commitments are met according to contractual obligations and company mandate

Provide key support and liaison with public/regulatory bodies e.g. tax, legal, customs, courts, etc.

Drive governance locally

Grow an environment where individuals are developed and engaged to deliver full value to the business

Act as the Champion to promote the culture of Aggreko values

Liaise closely with colleagues within and outside the region to effectively share and transfer knowledge, expertise between location to achieve best Aggreko practices

Any other leadership duties considered essential for effective operations and services to customers

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

Ability to develop new business opportunities, sell and close contracts.

Relationship management skills to develop customer and key stakeholder relationships

Ability to collaborate and galvanise multiple stakeholders towards a goal

Ability to motivate and coach individuals, bring the best out of team

Ability to approach change processes with emotional maturity and sensitivity

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Strong planning and organizational skills

Hands-on, down to earth and applying a personal touch to leadership

Holding people accountable and acting like an owner
