Apply now for the position of Country Marketing & Communication Head - Based in Cairo, Egypt where you will be responsible for leading the marketing and communication activities within the country. The role will align closely with the Country Head, Sales teams, and Business Area leaders to drive commercial success, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen stakeholder engagement across multiple channels.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead a unified, insight-driven marketing and communications strategy that supports business priorities, strengthens brand positioning, and enhances visibility across all key audiences and channels. Implement the annual marketing and communication plans that are measurable, scalable, and aligned with country, regional, and global objectives.• Manage all local marketing initiatives, including branding, digital marketing, social media, product-specific campaigns, customer engagement activities, clinical events, and roadshows product launches, events, and exhibitions, ensuring alignment with company standards and business goals.  • Serve as the primary liaison for all media relations, building strategic partnerships with key journalists and media agencies. Shape and manage the company’s narrative through earned, owned, and paid media channels, positioning the organization and its leadership as industry thought leaders. Also identify and leverage speaking opportunities, media features, and public engagements to promote the company’s brand and expertise. • Develop and execute internal communications strategies that promote employee engagement, support cultural initiatives, and reinforce leadership messaging. • Take full ownership of the marketing and communications budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and clear return on investment for all campaigns and initiatives. • Create and monitor reporting frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and communications activities, using analytics to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. • 12+ years of progressive experience in a similar role, preferably within healthcare, or the pharmaceutical sector. • Proven expertise in digital marketing, omnichannel campaigns, and content strategy. • Strong knowledge of branding, media engagement, and event management. • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across departments and senior leadership. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Fluent in English and Arabic. • Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities. • Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders under tight deadlines. • Strong leadership and team development abilities.
