About the Team
We are looking for a new colleague in HR team at our location in Chonburi, Thailand.
What you can look forward to as a Country HR Manager:
Partner with local management, ASEAN HR Leader and APAC HRBP’s to implement HR strategies that support business growth. Drive workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives. Ensure HR policies comply with Thai labor laws and corporate standards. Drive and work with GTA (Global Talent Acquisition) team the recruitment for salaried positions and lead the recruitment of indirect and direct positions. Partner with Thailand management team and employer branding team to develop employer branding strategies to attract talent in competitive industrial markets. Oversee and ensure good onboarding, retention programs, and succession planning. Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Promote a positive work culture through engagement initiatives (e.g., surveys, events, recognition programs). - Address labor union matters (if applicable) and maintain harmonious industrial relations. Implement performance management process (goal setting, appraisals, feedback). - Manage compensation & benefits (C&B), including benchmarking and payroll compliance. - Administer annual salary reviews and incentive programs.Internal Manage and implement C&B related projects as required. Identify training needs and coordinate L&D programs (technical, leadership, shopfloor, compliance). Support career development and upskilling for plant and office employees. Ensure 100% compliance with Thai labor laws, social security, and work regulations. - Oversee HRIS, payroll, and HR analytics for data-driven decisions with support of AP HR operation team. - Manage audits and reporting for corporate/regional requirements and follow up with improvement actions implementation / tracking. Collaborate with EHS teams to enforce safety policies in manufacturing plants. Monitor welfare programs (housing, transportation, benefits for plant workers).
Your Profile as a Country HR Manager:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred. 12+ years in HR management, including manufacturing/industrial sectors; automative industry background is preferred. Proven track record in Thailand labor law, union relations, and plant HR. Experience managing multi-site operations (factories + office). Proactiveness and strong communication skills. Analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking. Strong leadership and stakeholder management. Fluent in Thai and English (written/spoken). Business acumen in manufacturing environments. Ability to balance corporate strategy with local execution. High integrity and adaptability in a dynamic setting.
