Country HR Head & Senior Sector HRBP (Tokyo)

We are looking for an experienced HR leader. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for driving HR initiatives across all the business in Japan.

Location: Tokyo

Report to: Head of Electronics HR APAC (in Korea)

Direct report: 3 direct reports

 

Key Accountabilities: 

Has a strong relationship withGlobal & Regional Sector HR for the leading sectorCountry Speaker, CFO & CAO and Country CouncilRespective business leaderGSO (Global Solution Owners) and GES (Global Enterprise Solutions)As the Country HR Head, the role is responsible forHR representation at Country CouncilCross-country HR alignmentTeam and people management (HRBPs and admin staff are direct reports)Drive High Impact Culture and DE&I initiativesLocal, cross-sector deployment of GSO solutionsLocal HR policy development and maintenanceLabor and Employee RelationsHR ComplianceAs the Senior Sector HRBP, the role is responsible forProviding input to the Sector’s people strategyExecuting the Sectors’ people strategy in alignment with local sector strategy

 

Role Requirements:

+8 years of professional experience as HR Leader in an international context, manufacturing industry is idealUnderstanding of and Practical experience in General HR ManagementHands-on experience in leading and developing peopleBroad and In-depth knowledge of all HR related topicsExtensive experience as HR business partnerStrong project management and change management skillsExperience in using HR systems processes and toolsAbility and willingness to work on international HR projectsAbility of strategic thinkingHigh emotional intelligence and empathyExcellent presentation and communication skillsProficiency in both spoken and written Japanese and English
