Country Director, Malaysia
**Summary:** Meta is looking for the highest caliber executive leader to manage Meta’s growth in Malaysia, and to spearhead the company’s strategic relationships with global/local brands, agencies, and partners for Meta’s family of apps. As Country Director, you will lead strategy development and operational execution with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, measurement, and creative. You will need to have demonstrated understanding of market opportunities, and will create an inspiring vision to set objectives and run day to day operations. You are an exceptional people leader with a proven track record of delivering success in a high performing organization. Additionally, you are motivated, a self-starter with solid interpersonal skills and work ethic, and passionate about building teams, ways of working, leadership, and business. **Required Skills:** Country Director, Malaysia Responsibilities: 1. Define and drive Malaysia’s vision and strategy with short, medium, and long term goals 2. Establish operational rigour to ensure achievement of key objectives and business growth 3. Represent Meta to form long term strategic partnerships with communities, clients, agencies, government groups, industry groups, and c-level leaders 4. Lead and inspire the team to achieve results and create an environment of engagement, collaboration, development, and growth for your team and the broader community 5. Influence and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure effective go-to-market execution 6. Act as a thought leader to advocate for, and inspire, both internal and external stakeholders across a wide scope of key industry/market topics **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 7. General management experience and significant divisional leadership is required, especially managing multiple functions across wide-ranging business areas at scale 8. 15+ years of leadership experience, including experience in leading regional or global consultative sales & marketing organizations 9. Demonstrated experience managing complex clients and partnerships effectively 10. Experience working with government, industry bodies and partners on strategic matters 11. Experience in successfully leading teams with proven track record of leading experienced leadership teams, growing talent and developing organizational ways of working, and influencing strategically across cross-functional partners at all levels 12. Proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams to surpass their targets and grow the scale of business 13. Demonstrated experience to handle change management and to navigate ambiguity with agility and resilience 14. Demonstrated market experience in Malaysia is required, South East Asia preferred 15. Fluency in Bahasa Melayu and English language are required as this role will collaborate with external stakeholders whose usual business languages are Bahasa Melayu and English **Industry:** Internet
