Overview This course covers lift truck (forklift) fundamentals to include OSHA as it relates to safe lift truck operation. Counterbalance Forklift, Afternoon Class 2 Day Class August 6 - 7, 2025 1:00PM to 5:00PM Class will be held at: Maritime Training Center 360 Addsco Road Mobile, Alabama Class Description: This course covers lift truck (forklift) fundamentals to include OSHA as it relates to safe lift truck operation. It covers the following: Principles of Balance, Stability and Capacity Importance of a Thorough Pre-Operational Inspection of the Lift Truck Safe Load Handling Techniques Safe Handling of Fuels and Batteries Used in Lift Trucks Students will receive a certificate from AIDT.
