Ferguson is now hiring a Counter Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Plumbing & HVAC wholesale and retail part's counter located in West Allis, WI.

Position DetailsReports to the Business Development Manager – WI CountersDirect oversight of 6-8 associates

ResponsibilitiesLeads the overall operation including hiring, providing constructive feedback to Counter Sales Reps, and scheduling of associates to ensure efficient and quality counter operationsSupervises the merchandising, organization and appearance of the counterEffectively and professionally resolve complaints regarding products, customer purchases, and customer serviceApprove volume discounts and pricing adjustments and resolve pricing discrepancies with customersTrain associates on product specifications, merchandising, counter organization, and salesDevelop new customers through direct advertising and promotional campaignsParticipate in leadership meetings and represent operational concerns, policies and guidelines to the management teamContinually focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices

Qualifications3 – 5 years of prior sales experience plus 2 years supervisory experiencePlumbing and or HVAC Industry knowledge is preferredAbility to handle numerous customers simultaneouslyAbility to work with and analyze numbersStrong interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeAbility to work across department lines, manage time and peopleProblem solving, leadership and listening skillsAble to initiate and embrace change, mentoring skills and desire to train othersThe ability to serve a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledgeAbility to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines

Pay Range:

$4,331.70 - $9,529.30

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
