Count Drop Team Supervisor

Summary

The Count Drop Team Supervisor will provide leadership and professional development for the Count Drop Team. The Count Drop Team Supervisor will also be responsible for the accuracy of the count and drop process, and ensuring the operations are in compliance with Minimum Internal Control Standards.

Duties/Responsibilities

On a daily basis, ready to fill in on the Drop and Count team. Maintain accurate attendance records and issues the appropriate counseling documentation for points accruals according to casino policies and procedures. Manage, train, counsel and develop count/drop team so they can perform assigned duties effectively, efficiently and in accordance with the policies and procedures. Monitor and review all aspects of the count and drop team areas of operations for compliance with all applicable gaming regulations, internal controls and procedures. The drop and count must be done daily, accurately and in compliance. Maintain and operate an efficient operation through utilization of equipment, manpower and coordination with involved departments and planning with management. Report all malfunctioning equipment to the Count Drop Team Manager immediately. Maintain and ensure adherence to Count/Drop route and schedule. Review and maintain electronic copies of daily shift reports. Protect and safeguard the company assets. Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record. Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.

Supervisory Responsibilities 

Assist in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs. Speak with others using clear and professional language.  Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. 

Education / Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age, or older. High School diploma or equivalent, required. Basic on Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, required. Basic on Kronos Payroll system. Minimum two (2) years’ operating MPS or MPX Cummins currency counter MPS 4100, 8200 series. Minimum two (2) years’ experience utilizing IGT “drop utility”, “CTA table drop” and IGT ezpay, Aristocrat Oasis 360 count interface, Pit boss, Bally’s SDS, CMP. Minimum three (1) year of Lead experience related to count and drop experience or any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.    Minimum (2) years of CDT Representative experience, preferred. Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.

Certificates, licenses and registration

Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.  Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
