Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor s degree in Social Work or related Field preferredKnowledge of the dynamics of Domestic violence40 Hour Domestic Violence Training preferred/ or must be completed within 6 months of hireBilingual English SpanishAbility to work in an emotionally charged environmentAbility to perform duties in an independent manner with little or no supervisionProvide a safe, trauma-informed, non-judgmental, and empowering environment to all victims of domestic violence

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):

17.5hours weekly 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.mDays Part-Time

Essential Functions:

Conduct an intake assessment within 24 hours of the assigned case and implement a case plan based on identified client needsAssist clients in achieving goals as developed in the case planAdvocate for clients' behalf to other social services agenciesResponsible for providing direct services to clientsProvide crisis counseling, information, and referral when answering the hotlineMaintain confidential and adequate clients recordsDocuments all hotline calls, incidents and observationsAttending all meetings and trainings related to jobEnters daily end of shift log for next staff personProvides transportation as neededResponsible for other duties assigned by the Program Director or Coordinator
