Job Responsibilities:

Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate sales contracts for Greater China sites. Coordinate with counsels based in Europe or North America for cross-border projects.Risk Assessment: Negotiate and address customer or supplier claims. Conduct comprehensive contract assessments to identify potential risks and provide detailed analyses that balance business needs with associated exposure to risk.Training and Development: Design and deliver training sessions to commercial and operations teams on contract lifecycle management and Lenovo’s corporate policies.Operational Support: Support compliance attorneys to offer practical, business-oriented legal solutions that align with business needs while ensuring compliance and effective risk management.Process Improvement: Identify ways and tools to enhance internal processes to drive meaningful changes to improve efficiency.Other Tasks: Undertake other tasks as assigned by the Legal Department.

Job Requirements:

Education Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in law. U.S. or European education experience is highly preferred.Bar Qualification: Chinese Bar qualification is necessary. NY/CA Bar qualification is preferred.Working Experience: At least 8-10 years of post-qualification experience as a counsel in multi-national companies or as an associate in reputable law firms. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the automotive industry and those who have provided legal support for large-scale transactions.Personal Skills: Proven experience and ability in corporate and commercial matters. Excellent drafting skills and a high level of general advisory capability. Solid grasp of the general legal and comparative law landscape.Language: Work in both English and Chinese (this role requires collaboration with colleagues in different time zones).Additional Skills: Ability to use and adopt AI legal tools to improve working efficiency.
