Cost Specialist

Role Summary

Reporting to the Productivity Leader, you will lead the Analysis, Validation and Implementation of the Cost Models utilized to build the commercial offers.

The Cost Specialist will work within the reference system based on point data or on regressive statistical models of different levels of complexity.
The candidate must plan and guarantee the execution of the update of the information on the product cost following the indications of the quality process, following the procedures and timelines defined therein.
The candidate will be responsible for informing the cost in case of systems malfunction by providing support to system users and activating the necessary actions for the analysis and resolution of the problem.

Responsibilities:

Execute the Yearly plan of Cost Models to be updated.

Data gathering, classification of the information and analysis of the historical purchases.

Set up & drive Validation meetings with main stakeholders in order to get approval to the analysis done.

Update the System with the new costs.

Support Application Engineer in case of needs (i.e system malfunction) and activate the required actions to solve the issue.

Collaborate with P&T team and other functions to extend the Cost coverage in the system.

Work with Cross functional Teams to ensure the Cost Models are updated on time.

Support the user experience, solving issues during the cost definition phase.

Actively work with other functions to support new initiatives related to the Cost models (missing costs, BVC coverage, new Cost Model creation...) 

Requirements

Have experience in the technical commercial area or purchasing office.

Have IT knowledge of Teamcenter PLM, Oracle ERP, Project Planner .

Be Fluent English language written and spoken.

Have the ability to work in multifunctional teams and be task oriented.

Have excellent communication skills and resolution of complex problems as well as organization of priorities.

Be able to work in a matrix organization structure.

Have good knowledge of GTE products and services.

Have an understanding of GTE organization and operating processes.

Be a team player, able to effectively communicate with peers and supervisors.

Be a self-starter, strong sense of ownership, high level of motivation.

Have excellent presentation skills.
